There are 15 servers on the floor, there is still customer who complain that they do not get the waiter’s attention. What’s wrong with them? There are many cases like very slow kitchen, spoiled foods and wrong orders which can be solved by six sigma methods.

What is six sigma?

Six sigma is a set of techniques and tools for process improvement. Six Sigma seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes. It uses a set of quality management methods, mainly empirical, statistical methods, and creates a special infrastructure of people within the organization. Six Sigma theory and method should not complicated. We always see the implementation in our everyday life. The police line is an excellent example. Could you imagine how messy the city without police line? Police line was born before 1986, however, it is one of great example of Six Sigma method. Police line is the easiest six sigma implementation that we see in every day life.
